This installs the small local helper Hovpn's Chrome/Edge/Brave extension needs to run your proxy — it's a one-time setup, about 250 MB.
Nothing else on your Mac is changed: it's installed only into your own
user folder (~/.hovpn), no admin password required, and it can
be removed at any time by deleting that folder.
